Welcome to the foremost announcement on our Testnet Restaking Launch! This post is geared towards getting you familiarized with the restaking process with in depth tutorials for how to take action on Tangle and become an active participant in our community.

The Testnet has the most up-to-date logic of our blockchain, containing any new updates to the restaking system. Activities on the testnet are being tracked and will earn you a limited amount of experience points that will provide eligibility for future retroactive airdrops.

Onboarding
Get some testnet faucets and head to The Tangle dApp to start playing with the product and restaking experience. When you use the faucet, you should receive a variety of either native tokens or ERC20s depending on if you claim with both Substrate and EVM addresses.
Once you have tokens you can go through the set of actions required to get you fully set up and experienced restaking on Tangle.
- Stake & nominate validators with your TNT in the nomination page.
- Deposit and restake ERC20s on the restaking page.
- Natively restake TNT on the restaking page.
- Delegate to operators on the restaking page.
Seeing Your Points
As you start participating on the testnet you will accumulate some experience points, viewable in the dApp on the account dashboard. There is a limited amount of experience points for testnet participation, it is not sybil-resistant of course. Nonetheless, it is a great way to get started.
If you’re an operator things are slightly different and since we need operators to help us provide testnet services compute, we are rewarding this participation with a continuous stream of experience points. Participation is awarded fewer points than mainnet participation but still provide a path towards mainnet capabilities.
